Faculty Government Jobs in New Delhi
Jobs in Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Faculty Positions at IIIT Delhi Applications are invited for faculty positions as regular and visiting faculty at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, a state University through an Act of Delhi Govt. 1. Regular Faculty : The positions will be at all levels – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. For an Assistant Professor position, it is PhD (in computer science/Computer Engineering or an allied discipline), plus three years experience. However, for PhDs from a well known University/Institute (e.g. IITs/IISc/TIFR/ISI in India or well known research universities across the world), and a good research/academic record, the 3 years experience requirement may be waived. An outstanding scientist/ engineer who does not have a PhD but has made significant contributions in R&D could also be considered. The pay scale for faculty will be the same as IIT pay scales. 2. Visiting Faculty : Eligibility criteria for these positions: currently occupying academic positions in highly reputed academic or R&D institutions, or an R&D position in industry. The email should be cced to director@iiitd.ac.in. Hard copy may be sent to Director, IIIT Delhi; 3rd Floor Library Building; NSIT Campus; Dwarka, Sector 3; New Delhi – 110078. Applications will be considered regularly, hence there is no deadline for applying.
